WHY VIVITECH

A returns partner. Not just a processing vendor.

For supply chain, after-sales, sourcing and finance teams, a return is more than a unit to process. It is an operating cost, a brand decision and a recovery opportunity.

Responsive, tailored partnership

Start with the realities of your business. Define a service scope around your product mix, operating requirements and internal stakeholders rather than forcing every return stream into the same model.

  • Product and program requirements agreed together
  • Clear responsibilities and escalation paths
  • An end-to-end or selected-service scope

Recovery economics in focus

Processing alone is not the objective. Consider the cost of handling, repair viability and resale potential together to inform a commercially sensible recovery strategy.

  • Disposition informed by product and economic assessment
  • Flexible commercial models, subject to contract
  • Cost, repair viability and resale potential considered together

Technology-led accountability

Inventory, transactions and reporting provide the context behind operational decisions. VivitechWMS supports visibility into the movement and status of products within the program.

  • Connected inventory and transaction records
  • Reporting scope defined for your program
  • Issue observations may support field analysis

Controlled channel strategy

Recovery should work with your brand strategy, not against it. Establish channel restrictions, presentation requirements and disposition rules before eligible products return to market.

  • Contractually approved resale channels
  • Program-specific product presentation criteria
  • Approval checkpoints and auditability expectations

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Clarity before
commitment.

The right program begins with the right conversation.

How is an OEM returns program structured?

A program starts with your product mix, return streams, brand requirements and recovery objectives. Receiving, testing, disposition, reporting and approved resale channels are agreed as part of the program scope.

Which commercial models can we discuss?

Fee-for-service, outright purchase, revenue-sharing and structured remarketing arrangements can be considered. The model, eligibility and commercial terms are subject to contract.

How are our brand and resale channels protected?

Channel restrictions, product presentation, disposition rules and approval checkpoints are defined with the manufacturer. Remarketing is structured around the channels agreed for each program.

Can a program include U.S. and Mexico workflows?

Vivitech has operational capabilities in the Los Angeles area and Mexicali, Mexico. Cross-border workflows are assessed for the specific product, customs requirements and program scope.

Are all products eligible for repair or remanufacturing?

No. Eligibility depends on product condition, safety requirements, parts availability, economics and the agreed scope. Repairs are not universally OEM-authorized; remanufacturing applies only where appropriate.
