Goal : Our Client wanted to outsource their entire Reverse Logistic operations to cut costs but was afraid of losing the control.
Achieved : Our client not only maintained control by utilizing our real-time web based reverse logistics processing system, they also achieved faster Turn Around Time to process their units and higher recovery profits on the sale of the refurbished units.
The Vivitech Reverse Logistics Solution :
Vivitech Solutions proposed a solution to act as the primary return center. Upon receipt of the return goods direct from their customer, Vivitech staff would match and validate each receipt to the original RMA, test the products and log all activity by time and user. We would then analyze and test each unit and send the defective goods to our Mexico repair center. After performing QC, the NTF No Trouble Found items and the refurbished item were re-packaged and send back to our OEM client for re-use or re-sale. The OEM was charged a nominal refurbishing and repair services only based upon the repackaging or repair work required to be performed.
We also provided our client access to our Web Based Reverse Logistics Tracking System which our client used frequently to monitor progress for themselves and run ad-hoc reports for analysis and accounting purpose and tracking RMA.
